Description

Welcome to Bear Haven Mountain Cabin new in 2017 located just ten miles from Burnsville North Carolina ( Cattail Creek )  and a easy fifty minute drive to Asheville. This cabin offers seven beautiful acres, a small creek and hiking out the door. There is a large deck behind the cabin that offers a fire-pit for the cool nights where your family can gather and reminisce while the kids roast marshmallows and catch lightening bugs. There is also a covered side deck that is accessible from the main floor where you can relax at the end of the day with a glass of wine or just simply hang out and enjoy the sound of the babbling creek. This home easily accommodates eight but will consider two additional guest under twelve.

Once you step inside Bear Haven you find four bedrooms and two full bathrooms, quality furniture and bedding, luxury linens and a fully equipped kitchen. The main floor is open to the dining and living-room where you will find the double doors that lead out to the covered side deck.  The lower level offers a den area, flat screen tv, full bathroom, one more bedroom with full size bunkbeds and a large laundry room. The owner also placed a pac-man game table that offers forty additional games! There is outside access from the lower level.

If you decide you want to take a short drive to the quaint town of Burnsville, you will find a variety of small businesses. They range from antiques, outdoor merchandise, consignment stores, and a lovely gift shop/toy store plus others. You will also find the brewery with a great selection of good food.  Lots of cafes, ice cream shops, and many other restaurants. Don't forget our theatre and skating rink for the kids and adults too of course!

Our area is also known for whitewater rafting, fishing, hiking, zip lining, skiing, tubing, ect... We are also a short drive from many well known destinations. One more  Please call or email if you have questions or would like to book. The summer of 2017 will book very quickly.
